In my approach to therapy, you are the expert of your life and your experiences. Therefore, you are the best person to direct your journey as we move toward reaching your personal goals. My job is to provide a safe space to process life’s challenges, and also provide new perspectives and tools for you to consider on your road to healing and peace.
My methods of treatment are evidence-based and include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Internal Family Systems. I utilize additional tools such as mindfulness and trauma-informed care to provide a holistic approach to treatment.
I offer therapy services to adolescents and adults (ages 12+) in individual sessions via Telehealth and in person. Emily accepts Cigna, United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna and self-pay clients
