Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re opening up about your most vulnerable experiences. I understand how important it is to feel truly seen and heard in therapy, which is why I’m committed to creating an approach that centers around you and your unique needs. When I was navigating childhood trauma and self-discovery in my early 20s, I struggled to connect with therapists who didn’t seem to understand or support me in the way I needed. That’s why I tailor therapy to fit who you are — your pace, your story, and the level of support you need are what guide our work together.
I want to meet you where you are and build trust gradually, so that you can feel comfortable and supported every step of the way. I also recognize how crucial it is to provide a space that feels safe and non-judgmental. Whether you come from a marginalized background, identify as LGBTQIA+, are navigating perinatal challenges, or have experienced
other unique struggles, I am here to honor your individual journey.
Prioritizing your mental health is an act of self-love and a powerful investment in your future. If you’re ready to take the next step toward healing and growth, I invite you to reach out for a consultation to see if we’re a good fit. I’m here to help you become your best self.

Are you considering therapy but are overwhelmed by where to start? Or perhaps you’ve gone to therapy in the past and you’re ready for a new experience. Do you want support but struggle to believe others will understand? I’m here to remind you that you are the expert in your own life, and I can encourage and challenge you to become the version of yourself that you deserve to be.
Whether you have struggled with lifelong symptoms of mental health, or if new life circumstances have you anxious and uncertain, therapy is an opportunity to explore our experiences with curiosity and kindness with a trained professional. This allows us to gain insight, provide understanding of, and to heal from the burdens we carry.
I believe that the most important part of the therapeutic process is finding someone you trust. This is why I prioritize offering an open, individualized, and non-judgmental space for clients to talk about their experiences and the obstacles they are facing. I welcome any and all individuals, families, and couples who are seeking tools in achieving their idea of success and happiness.
I am passionate about women’s issues and maternal support, chronic and terminal illnesses, anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, and addiction and co-occurring disorders.
I primarily utilize CBT, ACT, and DBT and I am trained in additional modalities including Emotional Focus, Family Systems, and addiction therapies. I also ensure to stay up-to-date on relevant and proven therapeutic practices to best fit the needs of each person.
You have already taken the first step of seeking support, which is often the hardest. Allow me to utilize my eclectic approach that is tailored to you, to assist you on this journey of self-development.

Most people seek counseling when they are at their most vulnerable, and it takes bravery to seek support during this time. It is an honor to be trusted to sit beside you as you show your strength and resilience while taking on life’s challenges.
A strong and trusting therapeutic relationship is one of the most important components when working towards healthy change. In my approach to therapy, you are the expert of your life and your experiences. Therefore, you are the best person to direct your journey as we move toward reaching your personal goals. My job is to provide a safe space to process life’s challenges, and also provide new perspectives and tools for you to consider on your road to healing and peace.
My methods of treatment are evidence-based and include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Internal Family Systems. I utilize additional tools such as mindfulness and trauma-informed care to provide a holistic approach to treatment.
I offer therapy services to adolescents and adults (ages 12+) in individual sessions via Telehealth and in person. Emily accepts Cigna, United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna and self-pay clients
